Vection Group inc. is considering raising capital through a Regulation Crowdfunding campaign to be conducted by Fundify Portal, LLC. We are running this “Test the Waters” campaign (branded by Fundify as a Fast Pitch Preview™) to gauge Investor interest and also determine the appropriate funding method. During this Test the Waters campaign, (1) no money or other consideration is being solicited, and if sent, will not be accepted; (2) no offer to buy the securities can be accepted and no part of the purchase price can be received until the offering statement is filed and only through Fundify's funding portal platform; and (3) a prospective purchaser's indication of interest is nonbinding.



Vection Group, Inc., was established on August 30, 2017. The firm seeks to be actively engaged in the business of designing, developing and marketing certain proprietary mobile applications and cloud-based streaming API platform technologies using CUMULUS IP, the company’s newest data flow balance and disposal management IP and its Highly Efficient and Parallel Data Transfer (Tikr) IP.  

Data is king. The company’s Cross-Functional Smart Distribution Platform refines, compresses, configures, encrypts, and distributes data from all original data sources through the back-end, and displays the data on the front-end into multiple streaming API’s called Tikr’s in real-time. Vection’s technology aggregates data from multiple data nodes, cross references the data, and distributes the right information to the right place at the right time.

Vection Group will accelerate the evolution of Information Management by delivering interdisciplinary services and multi-domain products developed from innovative science and technology, while sharing best practices with end-users and clients around the world. It is the mission of Vection Group to collect, organize, and distribute the right information to the right people at the right time.

Humans produce astronomical amounts of data each day that requires storage. Over the next five years, global data is projected to grow to more than 175 zettabytes (that is 175 trillion gigabytes), and the amount keeps increasing. Dave Reinsel, Senior Vice President IDC’s Global DataSphere, asserts that the onset of the COVID-19 global pandemic has impacted data. In 2020, 64.2ZB of data was created or replicated, defying the systemic downward pressure asserted by the COVID-19 pandemic on many industries, and its impact will be felt for several years, Reinsel claims. Furthermore, the amount of digital data created over the next five years will be greater than twice the amount of data created since the advent of digital storage.



Vection Group specializes in logical edge AI computing with CUMULUS. 

Vection’s solution improves the way mobile applications like iOS and Android request, process and display multiple disparate data sets. Vection does this by implementing highly efficient, secure streaming parallel data transfers and displays with the use of multiple APIs (Application Programming Interfaces). The company’s patented technology emphasizes security and efficiency with the use of restful APIs, allowing data to be delivered to the end-user in a timely fashion, even in degraded environments when connectivity is limited. The features of this technology empowers everyone within an entire organization to make real time data driven decisions which results in increased operational effectiveness, improved safety, and enhanced innovation capabilities company-wide without increasing operational cost.

Vection Group's "Logical Edge" AI is an orchestration and sensor fusion engine that enables autonomous decision-making across edge devices and surroundings. It operates in low-bandwidth, low-power circumstances, such as on drones, airplanes, ships, robots, buildings, and satellites, and is designed for scenarios when speed and efficiency are critical. 

The amount of data captured by IoT sensors at the edge — from drones to wind turbines to manufacturing robots — is rapidly increasing around the world. The edge brings enormous opportunities as well as challenges, with billions of new sensors and zettabytes of extra data coming online soon. 

Our customers have traditionally prioritized acquiring the capacity to integrate this data into a consolidated platform that enables data-driven decision-making. However, this method is becoming less effective today. Many of the most beneficial acts, whether in battle or production, are time-sensitive. When data is sent back to the cloud for processing and analysis, it's possible that a high-priority target has moved — or that an operational failure has happened. Organizations that can make judgments on edge devices in seconds and in potentially disconnected situations will gain a competitive advantage. 



Vection Group currently owns two patents, which are filed with the USPTO:

  • Highly Efficient and Parallel Data Transfer and Display (USPTO No. 9,665,267)
  • Geospatial Alerting Technology and Push Notifications (USPTO No. 9,910,561)

These two ground-breaking inventions comprise the foundation of Vection’s data and communication technology. Vection’s patents can improve existing systems by leveraging these three capabilities:

  1. The company’s customized software would be able to interpret and present the end-user’s critical work data into a user-friendly, scrolling UI/UX. Moreover, Vection’s backend supports a robust software architecture with the ability to classify, compress, and configure the data for optimal efficiency and security.
  2. The company’s patented Geospatial Alerting and Push Notification feature would enable users to deliver secure messaging and push notifications.
  3. Vection’s fully-integrated, secure, cloud-native data storage, backend, and delivery system would offer fully customized services based on client needs, complete analytics reporting and analysis of all activities and actions performed within the network, allowing for full system transparency and greater insights.

There are several sub-sections of solutions areas that Vection’s technology addresses, including: 

Efficient Data Storage: Data is an asset that requires physical storage. The rate at which new data is being generated combined with slow, outdated modes of data transfer from one device to another can cause extreme backlog in data flow. Society’s increasing reliance on data will necessitate fast, accurate, and concise data delivery in order to effectively manage this information deluge. Vection’s proprietary technology allows for data to be cleaned, compressed, organized, and indexed so that it is refined, more accessible, and of greater value to the end-user, while simultaneously reducing the physical size of the data.

Data Aggregation (Move from Multi-Silo to Centralized Platform): is a common practice for data to pass through separate silos (Figure 1 below). The main problem with this form of data transmission is that single siloed data analytics requires multiple analysts, and moreover, the data might not be cross-referenced for anomalies. 

In Figure 2 below, Vection’s technology aggregates the data across multiple domains, and cross references the data to identify conflicts in data scheduling, thereby significantly improving information management across departments.

Customized Feeds: Not only does the company’s technologies have the ability to trim the physical size of data and aggregate information from multiple silos into one centralized silo, they also make data relevant to the end-user. Vection’s Tikr technology is a mobile display of streaming API’s that provide the end-user with essential information at the right place, at the right time.

Reduction of Apps Needed: The company is also addressing the proliferation of content applications that serves to hinder the flow of data. By using the Tikr technology Vection can stream multiple API feeds from many content providers. The end-user can then customize each stream depending on their needs. The Tikr UI/UX allows for the end-user to view across one screen the relevant information needed without having to open and close multiple apps.

Analytics for Decision Making: This enables the end-user to extract insights based on historic data to make real-time data driven decisions all throughout the day.

Company Vision



When we started this Vection Group journey, it was driven by a military tragedy. Five United States Special forces operatives, and an Afghan Army counterpart were killed by friendly fire in Southern Zabul Province on June 9, 2014. Whilst on patrol, and coming under heavy Taliban fire, an air-strike was called in and a B-1 Lancer bomber misdirected its payload killing the six military personnel amongst others.

This tragedy could have been prevented with a very simple technology that Vection Group has recently developed. Of course, in 2014, this technology wasn’t available.  After reading about the incident, we set out to find a way to prevent this type of accident from occurring in the future. What we came up with was our “Vection Logical AI SmartTikr. “

Having been part of a family that was deeply associated with the military, I have an instinct to want to help. In my father’s Air Force career his last assignment was Vandenberg AFB in California, where I was born.  He was a pioneer alongside his colleagues that built and launched the early rockets, Titans, Thor’s, Minutemen etc, which deployed many of the early satellites.  

Fast forward to almost present day. My brother, William Braxton Simpson, who happens to be a highly skilled software engineer. Started Braxton Technologies in 1997, a satellite command & control software company. I was an original founder of BTI and cut my teeth in the business working on satellite acquisition software. Through my 15-year tenure at Braxton, I found that the data (telemetry) from the rockets deploying satellites into orbit, created a large amount of data. On many occasions the telemetry was unusable, dirty, built-up to the point we didn’t have the knowledge on how to manage it or even store it.

As these things sometimes go, software fixes come along as technology is advanced and new and better techniques are discovered. It’s no different now. Vection Group was founded on the premise that new technology exists that allows us to better manage the astronomical growth in data through IoT, Smart Cities and Smart Products.

While our vision started off with the desire to help the warfighter, it has evolved from that point to one simply trying to build software that helps humanity with the management of the data.
