How can I pay for Startup investments on Fundify?
You can invest via credit card (for amounts under $20k), ACH from a U.S. bank or wire transfer. We also accept investments from self-directed IRAs. All funds are received and escrowed by our platform partner, Fund America, a division of Prime Trust.
At the end of a Startup's successful equity crowdfunding campaign, our escrow partner disburses the funds to the Startup and success fees to Fundify.
Before a campaign closes, there are some scenarios in which your investment could be canceled and refunded to you:
- You decide to cancel your investment for any reason. You have this right until 48 hours before the campaign closing date.
- A Startup makes a "material change" to an offering after you've invested. If this happens, we'll email you and give you five business days to reconfirm your investment. Otherwise, it will be canceled.
- A funding campaign is canceled because it did not reach the minimum funding target.
- A Startup cancels a funding campaign.
Refunds are processed by Fund America, a division of Prime Trust, using the same form of payment as your original investment.
